SPOKANE, WA—RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) has appointed Angie McPetrie to lead lodging development for its central region in line with its plan to grow to 100 hotels in 100 weeks.

“Joining Red Lion in this capacity is an exciting step forward as the company looks toward the Midwestern and Eastern U.S. for expansion,” said Angie McPetrie, RLHC regional VP of lodging development, Central Region. “Red Lion is a well-known brand to bring to this area, and I look forward to collaborating with this talented development team as we grow.”

McPetrie joined RLHC in March, leading lodging development efforts for the company’s central region.

An experienced hospitality executive, McPetrie has proven to be a strong leader as a regional VP and director for the Intercontinental Hotels Group, where she managed new franchise agreements, retentions and management agreements for the Hotel Indigo, Even Hotels and Crowne Plaza upscale hotel brands.

“Angie’s experience with franchise sales, licensing and strategic development will be of tremendous benefit to us as we expand,” said Chief Franchise Officer Brian Quinn. “The knowledge and involvement she brings to our development team puts us closer to reaching our goals. She is an excellent addition to our company.”
