NEW YORK Millennium Partners has announced the appointment of Donna Crotty as the general manager of The Residential Suites, the extended stay hotel component at the new Ritz-Carlton Towers, Boston Common. In her new position, Crotty will supervise the launch and operation of the 63 extended stay residential suites that are part of The Ritz-Carlton Towers, the mixed-use property that Millennium Partners is currently constructing on Boston Common. The development, which is due to open in May of next year, will also feature a new 191-room hotel, 270 luxury condominiums, a 19-screen Loews Cineplex Theatre complex and The Sports Club/LA, Boston, a 100,000-square-foot sports facility. Crotty most recently served as manager/sales and marketing for Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a subsidiary of The Rouse Company where she managed all communications for New England s most visited tourist attraction. Previously, Crotty had served as director of marketing and sales for The Bostonian Hotel. (11/27/00)
