Regent Int’l Gets New President

MINNEAPOLIS HOTEL BUSINESS. has learned that Carlson Hotels Worldwide has named Tom Huffsmith president of Regent International, a position that was vacant for several months following the departure of Paul Hanley earlier this year. Huffsmith will relocate from London to take on his new role, which officially begins January 2, 2001. Previously, Huffsmith headed up development activities for Bass Hotels & Resorts both in the United States and abroad. (11/29/00) Shannon McMullen
