RARE Hosp. Makes Executive Changes

ATLANTA RARE Hospitality has elected Eugene Lee Jr., the company s evp and COO to the board of directors, increasing the number of directors to nine. RARE has previously announced that Lee will become president/COO of the company as of January 1, 2001.

Lee s promotion is part of a planned transition in which Philip Hickey, currently president/CEO of RARE, will become CEO and chairman of the board of directors. Hickey will replace the current chairman, George McKerrow Jr., who founded the company and who will remain a director. (12/19/00)
