SAN DIEGO—RAR Hospitality is expected to open Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego North/San Marcos, its ground-up project and first property in the area, in April.
Jointly developed with Sea Breeze Properties, Fairfield Inn & Suites San Diego North/San Marcos has four floors, two meeting spaces and a total of 116 rooms and suites.
Constructed by Ledcor Group with JWDA as architect, the hotel has an open-concept design with contemporary interiors completed by iGroup Design that showcase modern touches. In-room amenities include mini refrigerator, hair dryer, microwave and flat-screen TV. The property’s amenities include a fitness center, pool and breakfast area.
Along with a new hotel, San Marcos is receiving San Diego County’s first in-hotel robot. The robot was developed by Savioke, and communicates with guests through typed messages that appear on a display screen. The robot will deliver food, towels and other travel necessities to guestrooms.
Dallas King is serving as general manager and Michelle Shullo as director of sales for the property.
