ARUE, TAHITI—Located near Lafayette Beach, the Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort, formerly the Radisson Plaza Resort, will undergo new upgrades and improvements in its guestrooms and suites, spa, restaurant and overall guest services as current ownership takes the property under private management.
Drawing from local and authentic French Polynesia inspiration, this 51- room and 40-suite resort offers views over the sea and the Matavai Bay.
The owner of the Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort, which has been under the name and management of Radisson since 2004, will now also supervise and advocate management of hotel operations. The Barbion Group is also the developer and principal shareholder of other fine French Polynesian luxury resorts, including the Four Seasons Bora Bora and Le Tahaa, a Relais & Chateaux property.
“The changes we plan to make will create greater value and enhance the overall guest experience at the Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort by integrating more local flavor, ingredients and expanded French Polynesian inspired dishes at our restaurant, as well as upgrading our guest rooms and suits along with the spa and improving the overall quality of service,” said Thierry Barbion, founder and president, The Barbion Group.
He added, “By enhancing our operations, we will be in a strong position to build synergies with our sister properties, the Four Seasons Bora Bora and Le Tahaa with the newly refashioned Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort suites serving as the gateway to the other islands for travelers and honeymooners alike.”
The Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort also offers banquet and reception space for weddings and offsite island-inspired meetings.
