MOSCOW—Carlson Rezidor opened Radisson Blu Hotel, Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport located here. This is Carlson Rezidor’s seventh hotel in operation in Big Moscow and second in the Sheremetyevo International Airport. The new 391-room property is the first and only in the Russian capital to be directly connected to the Airport terminals.
The new Radisson Blu will offer direct skyway access to main terminals of the Sheremetyevo International Airport, one of the three major air hubs serving Moscow. This hotel opening brings the group’s portfolio in Russia to 30 hotels and more than 8,900 rooms in operation.
Rising above the airport terminals, the Radisson Blu was designed by Swedish designer, Christian Lundwall, in his signature Urban or New York Mansion House styles. The hotel offers 391 rooms, including 16 executive suites, 16 junior suites and 60 business-class rooms with a fully equipped fitness center, Finnish sauna and the Turkish hamam.
The hotel offers a total of 1,800 square meters of event space, featuring 48 conference rooms, including five boardrooms and a 200-square-meter ballroom. The hotel offers Radisson Blu’s signature Experience Meeting service as well as Free Wireless High-speed Internet access and professional event support.
The hotel’s all-day Stratosphere restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinners. The Altitude bar and grill restaurant, located on the 11th floor offers panoramic views to the landing field of the airport.
