PORTLAND, OR—The Heathman Hotel here has joined Provenance Hotels’ portfolio of independent hotels, which includes the city’s Hotel Lucia, Hotel deLuxe and Sentinel.

Provenance will orchestrate all renovations, programmatic upgrades and guest service enhancements at the 150-room luxury hotel. The Heathman joins Provenance’s collection of hotels that are differentiated by deeply integrated art stories and strong local ties, according to the company.

“This feels so validating for us,” said Bashar Wali, president of Provenance Hotels. “The Heathman is one of the most iconic hotels in Portland; we’re excited to make it one of the most luxurious, engaging, and financially successful hotels in the Pacific Northwest.”

With the addition of Heathman, plans to open Dossier in the summer and Woodlark in the spring of 2018, Provenance Hotels will have a total of six hotels in the Portland market and another five throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southeast.
