DALLAS—Prism Hotels and Resorts today completed the brand transition of The Concourse Hotel at Los Angeles International Airport, a Hyatt affiliated hotel, to the Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport.

The 580-room hotel, managed by Prism, is undergoing an extensive $75-million renovation slated for completion on Jan. 1, 2017.

The hotel, which is currently open and accepting guests, offers 50,000 sq. ft. of conference center space, and two event lawns—The Hyatt Regency Park and The Hyatt Regency Grove—totaling 12,000 sq. ft. that accommodates up to 750 guests. Additionally, the hotel features a 14,000-sq.-ft. ballroom that includes best-in-class culinary equipment and custom LED lighting, according to the company and a new pool deck surrounded by contemporary spaces. The 580 completely new guestrooms and suites are outfitted with double-pane, soundproof windows and the latest technology. Additionally, a newly built conference center features more than 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Two new food and beverage experiences will launch in the hotel’s redesigned lobby with the hotel’s renovation completion in 2017. Seasoned Executive Chef Charles Fusco will bring Open Market to the hotel, which will feature stations designed around convenience and community, with grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, an Illy Cafe for coffee and pastries, soup and noodles, and made-to-order crafted items. In addition, Unity LA, will be available for all-day dining.
