NORTH PALM BEACH, FL—Driftwood Hospitality Management has appointed Paul Hsu as SVP of acquisitions.

Effective immediately, Hsu will be responsible for acquisitions, management contracts and working with Driftwood’s Asian capital partners.

Prior to joining Driftwood Hospitality, Hsu worked at HFF, LP as an associate director from 2010 to 2014 on the hotel investment sales team. Before that, Hsu served as a senior associate at The Plasencia Group. In both positions, Hsu was instrumental in obtaining business opportunities for potential partnerships, securing valuation engagements and executing the transactional process for the hospitality assets of HFF, LP and The Plasencia Group.

Hsu possesses more than 10 years of experience and has provided advisory services for nearly $2 billion worth of hospitality assets.

David Buddemeyer, president of Driftwood Hospitality, said, “Paul’s extensive knowledge of, and experience with, commercial transactions will prove invaluable to the growth of our company heading into the future. Paul has already introduced new foreign capital sources to us and based on his extensive relationships, we anticipate significant growth with him onboard.”
