DALLAS—OpenKey, the universal front-end keyless mobile entry solution, has integrated with Assa Abloy Hospitality, global provider of advanced hotel locking solutions. As a result, OpenKey’s mobile technology can now be used in conjunction with ASSA ABLOY’s mobile access enabled hotel door locks.
OpenKey provides a robust application for use by both hotel guests and front desk staff that can be integrated into hotel brand apps or work as a standalone solution, according to the company. OpenKey is now able to deliver SEOS-secured virtual credentials, which can be integrated with its mobile access technology.

The combined solution allows the hotel staff to send a virtual key directly to a guest’s mobile phone when they check in, whether it is prior to arriving or on-site. The mobile phone can then be used to securely access the assigned guestroom.
The OpenKey app is now available through the App Store for iOS devices and through the Google Play store for Android devices.
