On the Move: Montage International, Enchantment Group, More…

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business has been rounding up appointments. Here’s what we found:

Montage Names Corporate Director, Spa Operations
Montage International has appointed Patrick Huey as corporate director of spa operations. He joins the company from Minor Hotels International and MSpa, where he served as the corporate director of spas—Asia, and was responsible for establishing and implementing the business strategy for the Asian Spa Division. Prior to this, Huey was the corporate director of spa, fitness, and tennis for Sandals Resorts International. During his time at Sandals Resorts International, he launched the brand’s Red Lane Spa and Fitness Brands. He has also held various executive roles at  hospitality brands, including Viceroy Hotel Group, Four Seasons Hotels and Equinox Fitness.

Enchantment Group Taps EVP of Development
Enchantment Group has appointed Victor Cortes as EVP of development. Most recently, he served as VP of development at Bald Mountain Development. Prior to his time in Napa Valley, Cortes spearheaded the development of the Chileno Bay Club, Resort & Residences, the Rosewood San Miguel De Allende and Artesana Rosewood Residences, all part of the Bald Mountain Development portfolio. Additionally, he formerly served as director of development at destination resort and luxury adventure travel company Intrawest Placemaking.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts Adds New Leadership Roles 
Noble House Hotels & Resorts Ltd. has added three leadership and management appointments to accommodate its growth. Don Dennis has been named the new VP of operations for the West Coast based in San Diego; Jason Molls has been named the new VP of rooms based in Seattle; and Kelly Commerford moves into a new position as the regional director of marketing for the West Coast and is also based in San Diego. The three hospitality veterans are longtime members of the Noble House team.

Forbes Travel Guide Names Advisory Post
Les Clefs d’Or USA President Robert Marks has been chosen to serve on the standards advisory committee of the Forbes Travel Guide. The committee’s purpose is to “engage the highest level of global expertise from industry executives in meaningful and transparent dialogue around recommendations related to standards, benchmarks and other rating-related topics.” As president, Marks represents the 600 members of the USA chapter of Les Clefs d’Or, an association of hotel lobby concierges.
