Omni To Build Resort In Orlando

IRVING, TX Omni Hotels plans to build a $150 million luxury resort hotel in the Champions Gate master-planned community located in Orlando, FL. The property is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2002.

Located less than five miles from Walt Disney World, the new Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate will feature 732 guestrooms and suites, 70,000 square feet of meeting space, a 10,000-square-foot spa and six restaurants and bars. The property overlooks two championship golf courses. (10/24/00)
