WASHINGTON, CT—Ocean House Management (OHM) will assist Wykeham Rise Hotel Partners in developing Wykeham Rise and subsequently managing the property upon opening, the owner and operator of boutique luxury hotels revealed. The 27-acre luxury inn, which broke ground on April 1, is slated to open in summer 2019.

Wykeham Rise will have 54 rooms, signature suites, cottages, and an 11,000-sq.-ft. boutique suite-style spa. The property will also have an outdoor pool, fitness center, a wine and culinary education center, and a dynamic roster of activities under the direction of a full-time Naturalist. The inn will have multiple indoor and outdoor meeting and entertainment venues, such as a kitchen garden and orchard, swimming pool, skating pond, sledding field, and acres of hiking trails.

The project will feature one- and two-story privately owned residences managed by OHM, allowing owners to place their units into the inn’s rental program. Each will include multiple master suites and indoor and outdoor spaces, custom designed to meet the owner’s specifications. Owners will have access to a full range of amenities afforded to inn guests.
