Novotel Introduces Novation Room Concept

CARROLLTON, TX— Novotel has developed a new design concept for its guestrooms called the Novation Room, which is now available in the Toronto area at Novotel Mississauga and Novotel North York, in Canada. The Novation concept represents a multi-million dollar investment by Accor North America to set a new standard in the mid-scale lodging segment. It marries the luxurious feel of finer European hotels with upgraded amenities such as free WIFI (wireless Internet), said the company. Some features that define Novation Rooms include: built-in, bed-side electrical outlets, tables and lighting; a headboard contoured to the back making reading and watching TV in bed more comfortable; plush king-size beds with European duvets; a sofa with deep cushions or rounded-back armchair; opaque doors that open up the bathroom to the main living space; king-size shower with height-adjustable showerhead; a safe large enough for a lap-top; and cordless phone and dataport.
