RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA—In preparation for its opening, the Nobu Hotel Riyadh has appointed the management team for the hotel.
The hotel will follow Nobu Hospitality’s first Las Vegas project, a boutique hotel within Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The company was founded on a partnership between Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert de Niro and film producer Meir Teper.
The hotel, designed by the Rockwell Group Europe and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is set in the heart of downtown here on King Fahd Rd. and features 99 rooms and 35 suites.
The property will house three restaurants, including its signature Nobu restaurant; the Market Place all-day dining restaurant; and Zan Tea House; event facilities of two ballrooms with separate green rooms, six meeting rooms and personalized offsite catering; VIP lounge and the Abariz Spa.
The hotel’s new management team includes: Timothy Magee will be the hotel’s director of finance; Hana Al Toaimi will serve as the director of human resources; Amr Essa was appointed director of rooms; and Ahmed Dahmash is the director of sales & marketing.
