NGH Buys Three Hotels; AFC Capital Puts Together Deal’s Money Sources

NEW YORK— NGH has acquired the Somerset Hills Hotel in Warren, NJ; the Inn @ Somerset in Baskin Ridge, NJ; and the Four Points by Sheraton in Allentown, PA, with the help of acquisition financing that was arranged by New York-based AFC Capital. The financing in the deal totaled $48 million. AFC not only arranged the first mortgage financing, but also a joint venture institutional partner for NGH. Furthermore, AFC took an equity stake in the purchased assets.
