PALM SPRINGS, CA—Nexus Cos. has acquired the last land parcel it requires in order to develop a 10-acre, 499-room Hard Rock condo-hotel here. Sperry Van Ness brokered the acquisition of the 1.8-acre land parcel at 700 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way for Nexus and, specifically, its affiliate O/M Indian Canyon LLC. The seller, a private owner, represented herself in the transaction. Development is expected to begin in early 2008 and be completed in 2009.
