Next-Generation Holiday Inn Opens In Georgia

POOLER, GA— A 102-room Holiday Inn recently made its debut here. The new hotel is owned by Pooler Laxmi, Inc. and managed by Image Hotels under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. The 63,000-sf Holiday Inn Savannah-Pooler features the brand’s “Next Generation” design, which creates a residential atmosphere and features iconic representations of the brands history throughout the hotel. The bedspread and carpet display simple, organic patterns in stand-out colors like eggplant and each guestroom features a newly designed breakaway armoire that allows guests to see the TV from anywhere in the room. Upgraded features like faux leather ottomans, a variety of lamps, refrigerators and granite vanities are standard in each room. The residential design includes business-focused necessities like an ergonomic workstation, data ports, complimentary high-speed Internet access, WiFi capabilities and AT&T VoIP phone systems. Throughout the hotel, guests will see artwork reflecting memorable images from the Holiday Inn brand history, including founder Kemmons Wilson departing his Holiday Inn jet, a stylized version of the Great Sign and the Great Sign as a 1950s movie set backdrop. The hotel also has Kems Café, the new restaurant concept named after Wilson, which serves three meals a day featuring a wide array of “comfort food.” The Holiday Inn Savannah-Pooler offers a variety of other amenities, such as an indoor pool, a fitness center, a 24-hour front desk, complimentary shuttle service and complimentary parking. Additionally, the hotel has 2,000 sf of function space. With the addition of the Holiday Inn Savannah-Pooler, there are now 34 Holiday Inn hotels with more than 6,300 guestrooms in the state of Georgia.
