SAN DIEGO Newmarket International launched its e-City network, the first Internet-based, real-time platform for hotels and CVBs to share information, sales leads and request-for-proposals (RFPs) for volume business. The San Diego CVB and San Diegos Wyndham Emerald Plaza became the first CVB and hotel property to join the San Newmarket s e-City network. e-Cities are populated via Newmarkets MeetingBroker.com. The e-City, which will be comprised of CVBs, hotels, event facilities and other hospitality venues, will utilize Newmarkets Web-based infrastructure to link with one another so that sales leads and RFPs arrive at the CVB and can be processed and booked more efficiently.
