SAN DIEGO— The Villa Group Hotels and Resorts has appointed a new sales team to manage U.S. markets. The Group has six properties in Mexico located in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta and Mascota. The new sales team includes: Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing José Manuel Castelló; Corporate Sales & Promotions Manager Harry Giles; Corporate Sales Manager John Gilruth; Corporate Executive Sales Assistant Lupita Perez; and on-site Sales Managers Ibonhe Buch and Gelsey Fadul. Castelló has nearly 25 years in the hospitality business. In previous experience he was corporate sales and marketing director with Pueblo Bonito Hotels & Resorts. Additionally, he was president of the Hotel Association of Mazatlán. Giles, with more than 20 years in the industry, has specialized in sales and marketing for both U.S. and Mexican resorts such as Best Western International, Ramada Inns, Paradise Village in Puerto Vallarta and El Cid in Mazatlan. Gilruth, most recently with La Jolla de Mismaloya, also brings 25 years of experience to his new post. Perez comes to the Villa with five years in hospitality administration management at Hanalei Hotel in San Diego and four years at Pueblo Bonito Hotels & Resorts’ corporate offices. Sales Managers Ibonhe Buch and Gelsey Fadul, located in the Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta offices, respectively, will promote the group’s properties in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The Villa Group’s hotels and resorts include: Villa del Palmar, Los Cabos; Villa La Estancia, Los Cabos; Hotel Santa Fe, Los Cabos; Villa del Palmar/Villa del Mar, Puerto Vallarta; Villa del Palmar Flamingos; Nuevo Vallarta; and Sierra Lago Resort & Spa, Mascota, Jalisco.
