PUERTO VALLARTA Arturo Galindo is the new sales and promotion director for the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board. According to Galindo, his key role is to develop promotions that integrate participation from all markets involved in the tourism industry here, including hotels, airlines, travel agents, restaurants and other businesses, to promote the destination. He is in charge of coordinating the logistics of new promotional efforts for both the Mexican national and international markets. Previously, Galindo served in executive positions at Hotelito Desconocido and La Jolla de Mismaloya resorts, as well as with the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo Tourism Board. Stefani C. O Connor (9/22/00)
