FORT MYERS, FL— A former Quality Inn and independent hotel here is now set to reopen as the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Downtown Historic District hotel by the end of this month. The asset’s owner, DOC Fort Myers, LLC, has invested approximately $3.5 million in renovating and converting the 123-room property. The operator is DOC Hospitality, LLC. DOC is also developing several other InterContinental Hotels Group-branded properties, including a Hotel Indigo in Fort Myers and a Staybridge Suites in Milwaukee. Located at 2431 Cleveland Ave., the 90,000-sf Holiday Inn Fort Myers will feature an outdoor pool, a 24-hour front desk, a business center, a fitness center, a restaurant and 1,200 square feet of function space.
