TORONTO—InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the new-build 134-room Holiday Inn Express and Suites Vaudreuil-Dorion hotel in Quebec.
This hotel is the first Holiday Inn Express hotel in the city and joins other IHG properties in the Greater Montreal area including the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montreal Airport hotel; the Holiday Inn Laval hotel and a recently announced new-build Holiday Inn hotel slated to open in downtown Montreal in 2017.
“From the moment guests see the recognizable blue sign as they approach the Holiday Inn Express Vaudreuil-Dorion hotel, they know that their stay will be straightforward and enjoyable. They know that they will get a great night’s rest, enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning with a variety of choices to meet their needs and get on their way to accomplish their travel goals. This brand was created to deliver just that and it’s what we strive to do every day in every hotel,” said Jennifer Gribble, VP, Holiday Inn Express Brand, IHG.
The property features an indoor saltwater pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a 24-hour business center. Business travelers can take advantage of one of seven suites each featuring a private meeting room for up to four people. The hotel also offers 1,820 sq. ft. of meeting space, which can accommodate up to 225 people for a cocktail-style reception. Guestrooms feature contemporary styling, comfortable queen, king or two double beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair and an in-room coffee machine featuring complimentary Smart Roast 100% Arabica coffee.
“The Vaudreuil-Dorion market is a great fit for the Holiday Inn Express brand due to its convenient location near Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport, Joseph Carrier Industrial Park and Kraft Canada. We look forward to providing our guests with unmatched comfort and convenience at a great value,” said Kristopher Wekarchuk, GM, Holiday Inn Express Vaudreuil-Dorion.
