PHILADELPHIA- The Network Connection, a broadband solutions provider for the hotel industry, recently told HOTEL BUSINESS. that a MeriStar-managed hotel in Dallas will be the next property to have the companys interactive entertainment system installed.
The companys entertainment system includes wireless keyboards for web-activated high definition TVs, laptop connectivity and the installation of applications and video servers.
“We work with the hotels to decide the right programming mix to appeal the specific demographic segment that characterizes that propertys typical guest,” said Jay Rosan, executive vp of The Network Connection. “Perhaps the most important feature of our applications server is that before a movie comes on, we can put up a screen that reminds the guest about room service or other special amenities the hotel offers.
