ABERDEEN, SD—Three My Place locations are expected to open in the Midwest this year: My Place Hotel-Mt. Pleasant, WI; My Place Hotel-Overland Park, KS; and My Place Hotel-Shakopee, MN.
Construction has already begun in Mount Pleasant, WI, where the new hotel is taking shape at 13320 Globe Dr. The three-story, 64-unit hotel is expected to open this summer.
Construction is expected to begin this spring in Overland Park, KS. The three-story, 64-unit hotel will be located at 8983 West 135 St. The location presents immediate access to the 135th St. Business Park, Blue Valley Recreation Sports Complex, Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex, and a variety of retail and dining options. The Overland Park hotel is expected to open by the end of 2019.
This spring, hotel construction is also expected to begin in Shakopee, MN. The four-story, 63-unit hotel will be located at 3912 12 Ave. East. The Shakopee hotel is also set to open by the end of 2019.
My Place Hotels is expanding to the remaining corners of the Midwest region and beyond with a total of six state entries currently slated for 2019, expanding the brand’s footprint across 27 states by year end.
