MILWAUKEE—The multimillion-dollar renovation at The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North has been completed, according to Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation. The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, located within the Concourse Corporate Center, underwent a transformation of all 372 guestrooms; the expansion of its 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space to include two additional boardrooms and a Westin Executive Club Lounge; and has introduced a new full-service restaurant, Savor bar & kitchen, with Executive Chef Robert Chaffin and Restaurant Chef John Bjorge at the helm.

“We are thrilled to debut the revitalized Westin Atlanta Perimeter North to our guests and residents in the Atlanta metro area. Business and leisure travelers alike can recharge and rejuvenate while enjoying all of the Westin brand’s signature elements and amenities,” said Martin van der Laan, general manager.

Blending organic colors and textures with Westin’s signature decor and design elements, guests are greeted with the scent of White Tea by Westin, ambient lighting and tranquil acoustics, according to the company.

Organic elements from Georgia can be found throughout the hotel’s design, beginning in the lobby. As guests check-in at the front desk, glowing light seeps through panels to form an illuminated Live Oak, a modern perspective on the Georgia state tree. A custom-made iron sculpture, created by local artist Andrew T. Crawford, serves as the focal point. Tall floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the hotel’s views of Concourse Center’s private lake, and two communal tables draw guests into the lobby area.

“Guests will notice a complete transformation of all 372 guestrooms,” added van der Laan. “All guestrooms and suites have been completely transformed with new design elements and decor, and feature the Westin Heavenly Bed. Guests can relax and enjoy Westin’s Heavenly® Bath, Heavenly Shower, Heavenly Robe and White Tea Aloe bath amenities.”

The hotel’s 20,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space was revamped to include two new boardrooms and a Westin Executive Club Lounge, providing added benefits and amenities for busy travelers and meeting planners alike. Custom-designed carpet inspired by Georgia’s state flower, the Cherokee Rose, covers the ballrooms, meeting spaces and pre-function areas.

As part of the transformation, the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North has unveiled Savor bar & kitchen, a farm-to-table eatery featuring regionally influenced dishes that utilize products from local vendors and farms. In addition to signature Southern dishes, the restaurant will feature healthy options inspired by Westin’s SuperFood program as well as offer the Westin Fresh Start daily menu items.

Additional facilities include the WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, an outdoor pool and a complimentary in-lobby Business Center.

“Our tranquil lakeside location, newly renovated guestrooms and public spaces and our locally inspired dining concept will provide a peaceful oasis for travelers visiting Atlanta or the Concourse Center, which is home to numerous Fortune 500 companies. We believe this metamorphosis will make the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North the ideal destination in one of the metro area’s most popular corporate districts thanks to the Westin brand’s signature amenities and programs,” said Thomas F. Kissinger, interim president of Marcus Hotels & Resorts and senior EVP of The Marcus Corporation.
