BAAR, SWITZERLAND—Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed industry veteran Olivier Chavy as its new CEO, effective next month. He succeeds Jean-Gabriel Pérès.
With 28 years in hospitality, Chavy is making the move from president/CEO of interior architectural design firm Wilson Associates.
Chavy has extensive operating experience, including hotel openings on three continents. He previously served as international head, Global Brand Performance of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide.
Commenting on the appointment, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Chairman Jürgen Fischer said, “Olivier will continue to drive value for Mövenpick’s shareholders, hotel ownership partners, employees and guests alike.
