ORANGE COUNTY, CA—Montage Hotels & Resorts, the hotel and resort management company behind Montage hotels, resorts and residences, plans to develop and operate its newest seaside resort on the shores of Santa Maria Bay in Los Cabos, Mexico. Set within the exclusive new enclave of Maravilla Los Cabos, Montage Los Cabos will feature 122 guestrooms and suites, along with 52 Montage Residences. Montage Los Cabos will be the first international destination for Montage Hotels & Resorts, and is anticipated to open in late 2017.

All of Montage Los Cabos’ public spaces, guestrooms and suites will be designed to frame the surrounding Baja desert landscape and serene waters of the Sea of Cortez, according to the company. Robert Glazier, architect of Glazier Architects, Inc., is taking the lead in architectural planning and design of the resort. The property will feature a variety of native materials and a palette of natural desert tones.
Montage Los Cabos will offer its guests highly-personalized experiences, including wellness programs and treatments at the signature Spa Montage, as well as an array of fitness offerings at an on-site Activities Pavilion, which features tennis, barefoot pitch-and-putt, basketball and recreational lawn facilities.
Unique in the Los Cabos region, Montage Los Cabos features walk-in access to snorkeling and diving at Santa Maria Bay. The resort will also include two pools and Montage’s signature children’s program, Paintbox.
In addition, Montage Los Cabos will feature multiple dining venues, as well as 6,100 sq. ft. of indoor meeting and event areas.
