MEMPHIS, TN—Noble Investment Group CEO Mit Shah has been named the keynote speaker of the 12th annual Southern Lodging Summit conference, which is taking place here from August 19-20.
Shah, a 21-year veteran of the industry, has been responsible for more than $2.5 billion in hotel investments.
The conference begins with its signature luncheon at Rendezvous BBQ Restaurant, allowing conference attendees to network and interact with industry leaders scheduled as speakers, such as Vanessa Sinders, SVP/department head of government affairs, AH&LA; Michael G. Medzigian, chairman and managing partner, Watermark Capital Partners, LLC; and Brian Wogernese, president and founder, WHG/Cobblestone Inns.
After “Lunch with the Speakers,” attendees can go to an evening cocktail reception, dinner and auction at Peabody Hotel, an event that supports the political action committees for the Metropolitan Memphis Hotel & Lodging Association (MMH&LA) and American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA).
A series of panels and educational discussions are planned for Wednesday, August 20.
Chuck Pinkowski, owner of Pinkowski & Company and conference co-founder, stated: “The Southern Lodging Summit is a one-of-a-kind forum for hospitality practitioners and those interested in learning more about the industry to meet, interact and learn about the specific challenges and opportunities that the hotel marketplace will face moving forward.”
The conference was co-founded by Pinkowski & Company, based here, and MMH&LA. Hotel owners, operators, sales executives, financiers, architects, attorneys and hotel company representatives targeting the southern and mid-south region of the U.S. come together at this conference.
