MILAN, ITALY—Hilton Garden Inn Milan Garden Inn North, owned and managed by GdF Milano Nord Srl, has opened following a conversion. The new hotel adds to the brand’s portfolio of more than 30 hotels in Europe, eight in Italy and more than 600 locations worldwide.
“We announced Hilton Garden Inn Milan North in October last year and now, five months later, we are pleased to be opening the new hotel for guests,” said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn. “The brand is already familiar to visitors of Milan, and we look forward to offering a welcoming experience to travelers with our comfortable and affordable accommodation and amenities.”
Hilton Garden Inn Milan North is located near the Villa San Giovanni metro station with connections to attractions such as the Milan Cathedral and the Golden Quadrilateral fashion district.
The hotel offers 24-hour fitness and business centers and complimentary WiFi throughout the property, as well as 10 meeting rooms offering more than 8,600 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space that can accomodate up to 850 people.
“Milan is known as Italy’s art, fashion and critical business hub, where commercial and creative industries meet,” said Lorenzo Zagatti, general manager. “The upcoming Expo Milano is expected to bring more than 20 million visitors from around the world over a six-month period.”
Dining options include the Garden Grille and Bar, which offers a full cooked-to-order breakfast, dinner, evening room service and cocktails; and the Pavilion Pantry, which is open 24 hours and features a selection of snacks, cold beverages and frozen, microwaveable packaged items.
