LAS VEGAS—MGM Resorts International has appointed Marcus Glover president and COO of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. He’ll oversee the daily operations of the property while providing strategic direction and leadership.

Glover brings to the position more than a decade of gaming and hospitality experience. He has designed and developed several properties from the ground up in new jurisdictions and has held leadership roles in project management, government relations and labor relations.

He joined MGM Resorts in 2015, first serving as GM and then president and COO of Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, MS. He previously served as SVP and GM for Caesars Entertainment in Ohio, and as assistant GM and VP of operations for Harrah's in St. Louis. He also held several leadership positions with Caesars in Mississippi and Louisiana.

He succeeds Tom Ballance as president of Borgata. It was announced in May that after the leadership transition, Ballance would become EVP of operations for MGM Resorts.

Glover will assume his new role at Borgata upon completion of licensing requirements.
