MIAMI—Menin Hospitality has opened Kaskades Suites at Gale South Beach, a 25-unit, suites-only wing, following a restoration of the vintage property.
Located at 300 17th St. in Miami Beach, Kaskades Suites at Gale’s restoration was led by local designers Urban Robot Associates, who maintained the boutique hotel’s historic relevance as originally designed by architect Melvin Grossman in 1953.
Two additional levels have been incorporated to offer a 1,000-sq.-ft. meeting space, catering kitchen and 3,400-sq.-ft. rooftop terrace and pool where planters allow foliage to cascade down the facade of the building.
Within each suite, guests are able to control the room temperature, lighting, window shades and 55-inch LED television via a touch screen. Additional features include chamomile-infused tranquility gel mattress, private balcony, Italian linens, an expanded 90-channel IBAHN system, cotton bathrobe and slippers, sitting area, work desk, wireless Internet access, room service and nightly turn-down service.
The suites offer marble-clad bathrooms separated by a one-way mirror, each featuring a rain shower, a spa tub for two, an LED TV within the bathroom’s vanity mirror, and a hands-free toilet that also serve as a bidet with seat and water temperature controls. Suites located on the first floor also offer outdoor Japanese soaking tubs with chromatherapy treatment and water jets.
Guests may also enjoy two complimentary chairs at Shelborne Beach Club and access to Gale South Beach’s fitness center, along with dining and entertainment options, including Dolce Italian Restaurant, Regent Cocktail Club and Rec Room.
“With each new Menin Hospitality project we are aiming to offer our guests an unrivaled product, level of detail-oriented service and brand standard,” stated Jared Galbut, managing principal of Menin Hospitality.
Menin Hospitality’s portfolio in South Florida and Chicago includes upscale lodging, lifestyle restaurants and nightlife venues.
