SPARTANBURG, SC—MCR Development, LLC has completed an extensive renovation at the 88-suite Residence Inn Spartanburg, located here at 9011 Fairforest Rd.
The renovation involved upgrades to the lobby area, guestrooms and enhancements to the hotel’s exterior, including new stairwells.
The modernized lobby area has been outfitted with new furniture, including a centralized granite-top communal table that seats up to 20 persons and is fully equipped with outlets. MCR also removed the lobby’s fireplace to create a more spacious and open environment for guests to socialize and added all new patio furniture to the pool area.
The hotel’s guestroom suites were outfitted with new bedding, couches, dining chairs and carpeting and window treatments. Vinyl flooring was installed in the kitchen of each suite.
Residence Inn Spartanburg is located near the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport and some of the area’s core businesses and universities, including BMW Manufacturing’s North American headquarters, Milliken & Company and Wofford College.
