NEW YORK— Bill McCreary has been named president of Tishman Hotel Corp. here, replacing John Griswold who leaves the company to assume the dual post of president of CNL Hospitality Corp. as well as CNL Hospitality Properties in Orlando, FL. With some 32 years of experience in the hospitality and hotel management business, McCreary will now oversee all business activities and operations, new business efforts, and management contracts for the affiliate of Tishman Realty & Construction Co., with his Orlando-based responsibilities covering approximately 10,000 rooms across the U.S., throughout the Caribbean, and within Eastern Europe. McCreary has been involved with Tishman hotels since 1989 when— as general manager— he opened the Walt Disney World Swan Resort in Central Florida. He began his lengthy career at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.
