CONAKRY, GUINEA—Sheraton Grand Conakry has opened, marking Marriott’s first hotel in West Africa.

The hotel’s 269 guestrooms offer ocean views. Contemporary design and local touches blend to create what the brand believes to be a “distinct and vibrant aesthetic.”

The 49 Sheraton Club rooms and suites provide guests with exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, a private space where guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks during the day. Leisure facilities at the property include a 24-hour fitness center, pool and Shine Spa.

Ranging from bakeries to full-dining restaurants, Sheraton Grand Conakry has several dining venues, including Feast, La Parisienn, Hot & Blue and Paired.

Also available: a grand ballroom, 15 meeting rooms and a business center.
