MILWAUKEE Marcus Hotels and Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation, will manage Timber Ridge Lodge, a new 225-unit condominium hotel project to be developed on land adjacent to the company s Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI.

Marcus Hotels and Resorts will manage the new project, which is being developed by Michael Peterson, president of Timber Ridge Lodge Development LLC. The family-oriented hotel features a Pacific Northwest, nature-inspired motif with one and two bedroom condominiums that have full kitchens, fireplaces, whirlpool baths and covered balconies. Highlighting the property is an attached 50,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor waterpark.

Phase one of the development, including 111 guest suites, the waterpark and other amenities, is expected to open in July 2001. (10/23/00)
