COLUMBUS, OH—Rockbridge has hired Marcos Casillas as managing director of asset management. Casillas will primarily focus on creating value for the company’s investors through maximizing the operational performance of the company’s hospitality portfolio. He will report to Jordan Hansell, president of Rockbridge.

Prior to joining Rockbridge, Casillas worked in asset management, real estate investment and operations. He managed complex asset types including full- and select-service, independent and branded hotels and high-profile resort destinations in a variety of different markets, according to the company.
Casillas led the portfolio asset management and acquisition functions for several real estate investment firms, including Trinity Hotel Investors. Additionally, his career includes experience with the Woolley Hotel Company, where he led operations and asset management, which included a mix of three-to-five-star independent, luxury resorts, branded hotels and independent select-service hotels.
