DALLAS— The Mankarios Partnership has appointed Martin Finch to the position of director of sales and marketing for the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, CA and the Kona Village Resort in Kona, HI. Both resorts are owned by Ty Warner Hotels and Resorts and are operated by Mankarios Partnership. Bringing more than 15 years of travel and hospitality experience to the position, Finch will be responsible for directing the properties’ day-to-day sales and marketing initiatives as well as overseeing advertising, promotion and public relations. He will also play an integral role in the development of specialized guest experiences and programs. Prior to his appointment, Finch was regional sales director of Fiesta Americana & Caesar Park Hotels. He began his career in the hospitality industry working at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Kona Village Resort is situated on 82 acres along the Big Island’s Kohala Coast. Once the site of an ancient Polynesian fishing village, the resort has 125 thatched-roof cottages. Situated on more than 500 acres in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains, San Ysidro Ranch features 40 luxurious accommodations, most with private patios and fireplaces. The resort offers an array of in-room spa treatments, hiking and walking trails, two restaurants, tennis courts and a heated pool.
