Mandarin Oriental To Manage New Chicago Property

CHICAGO—Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is set to manage a new 500-unit luxury hotel and residential property, slated to open in 2009. The project will be divided equally between guestrooms and residences. Mandarin Oriental Tower, Chicago will be adjacent to Millennium Park and close to cultural attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment facilities. . The five-star property, designed by Chicago architect, Martin Wolf, will offer three distinct residential options and also will house luxury retail shopping and restaurants. All 250 guestrooms, which average more than 750 square feet, will offer state-of-the-art entertainment and customer-centric technology systems.
