LONDON—Magnuson Worldwide plans to launch a low-cost global hotel reservation system Oct. 16 at the Annual Hotel Conference in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The CRS1 platform will be made available as a limited launch in the United Kingdom and will offer flat fees per transaction with volume-based pricing. Magnuson stated that hotels utilizing commonly provided legacy hotel reservation systems will be able to reduce CRS transaction costs up to 90%.
The CRS1 system offers a free hotel property management system, PMS1, with no monthly fees, minimums or long-term contracts.
CRS1 offers hotels the ability to make instant rate and availability changes to a complete global distribution of GDS channels Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo and Pegasus, as well as direct connections to Google Hotel Finder, Expedia, Booking.com, GlobalHotelExchange.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
CRS1 is certified to interface with major PMS systems Micros, MSI, Infor by SoftBrands, Maestro, Agilysys, Inn Quest, RezStream, Rezovation, Lodgical Solutions, Innsoft, AutoClerk, Resort Data Processing, SoftHotel and RSI.
