Madison Hotel Taps Bello As New GM

WASHINGTON— Stephen Bello has been named general manager of The Madison Hotel today. Bello, who has nearly 25 years of hospitality experience, has been named general manager at a number of high-profile hotels, including Ritz-Carlton properties in Philadelphia, Dubai, Palm Springs, and Amelia Island, as well as other branded hotels in Mauna Kea Beach, Dallas, and Atlanta. Most recently he was general manager of the 250-room Hershey Hotel in Hershey, PA. The 335-room/suite grande dame hotel here is currently undergoing a $30 million restoration, which is scheduled to be complete this summer.
