According to Lodging Econometrics (LE), there are 715 pipeline projects with 113,465 rooms that have yet to select a brand. Of these 715 projects, 139 are for full-service hotels, 455 are select-service and 121 are limited-service. 59%, or 398, of these projects are in early planning. Some of the largest unbranded projects can be found in Miami (1,800 rooms), San Diego (1,500 rooms) and Seattle (1,270 rooms). The top markets with the highest concentration of unbranded projects in the pipeline are New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami and Washington, DC.

Unbranded hotel construction constitutes 21% of the total pipeline rooms and represents a great deal of new business opportunity. Lodging Econometrics can identify and present all of these opportunities. To learn more, contact: +1.800.553.0106 or email: [email protected]
