LONG KEY, FL— A project is in the works here that will eventually yield the Lime Tree Bay Resort and Residences. Victor Bubnow will develop the resort on the site of a hotel he currently owns. Jaqueline Gonzalez Touzet and Carlos Prio-Touzet will design the new property, which will be located along a quarter mile of waterfront and feature 45 residences. The resort will also contain two swimming pools, a hammock grove, a fishing pier, a clubhouse with a library and bar, a waterfront massage area, a fitness center and wrap-around verandas. Each unit will have a panoramic waterfront view; a deck; wireless high-speed Internet access; a widescreen plasma television; a kitchen with European exotic wood cabinetry and quartz and velvet finish granite countertops; and a guest bathroom with a rainfall shower, an oversize built-in tub with garden views and Kohler Purist fixtures. Some units will also have plunge pools and private elevators.
