BOSTON—The Liberty Hotel expanded its staff to include Jennifer Morelli as group sales manager and Bridget Luddy as catering manager.

Morelli is responsible for both enhancing the presence of The Liberty as well as the acquisition of business from the SMERF and government markets.  She most recently served as leisure sales manager for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc.’s Boston metro market.

Luddy is responsible for catering operations for both social events and business functions within The Liberty’s 6,000-sq.-ft. of event space. Luddy began her hotel career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., and was most recently special events manager at Turner Fisheries, where she handled all facets of planning and logistics for events in the restaurant and private dining room.

The 298-room Liberty Hotel, a member of Starwood’s The Luxury Collection, is an adaptive reuse of the Charles St. jail, a national historic landmark built in 1851.
