DOTHAN, AL—LBA Hospitality has promoted Farrah Adams to COO. Adams, who has been with the company for almost 18 years, was most recently SVP – Hospitality. In her new role, Adams will oversee the entire hospitality team including the company’s 65 properties. By the end of 2017, LBA Hospitality will manage more than 70 properties, which is in large part to Adams’ dedication to growth and development.
In addition to this role, Adams serves on the Residence Inn Advisory Board. She has also served on the TownePlace Owner Advisory Committee and the Courtyard Design and Construction Committee.
“I believe that Farrah’s dedication to LBA’s associate-focused culture will allow us to manage growth, provide exceptional results for our hotel owners, while still remaining focused on our most important asset, our people,” notes Beau Benton, president of LBA Hospitality. “I am elated to announce Farrah’s promotion to chief operating officer—a title that is well deserved.”
“From day one, Farrah has demonstrated a unique ability to understand the dynamic nature of our business,” said Barry Kraselsky, past president of LBA Hospitality. “She accepts any challenge presented and is able to make quick, sound judgments and implement improvements in all facets of our operations. Farrah’s abilities transcend LBA, and she is recognized as a leader in the hospitality business. Her nomination by Marriott to be a member of the Residence Inn Advisory Board reflects the respect she commands in the hotel business. It is a large source of personal pride to see what she has achieved.”
Larry Blumberg, founder and CEO of LBA Hospitality, added, “Having seen Farrah work her way through the ranks, it is so gratifying to see her ascend to this extremely important position. Farrah has become a superstar in the hospitality industry. It’s very reassuring to me and all of our associates to know that Beau and Farrah will lead LBA Hospitality for many years to come.”
