HONG KONG— At the newly renovated Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong hotel here, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and KoolConnect Technologies have partnered to introduce an in-room high-definition video-on-demand system that functions through a complete Internet Protocol television system with personal video recording capabilities. The system also allows users to experience a home theater system with high-quality audio and HD content. The KoolConnect system, known as Intrigue, also provides iPod connectivity and can be controlled through one remote control. Intrigue has become the in-room entertainment signature for all Mandarin Oriental hotels.
