Kalibri Labs: Hotel Closures Remain Flat; More Trends

NATIONAL REPORT—Kalibri Labs has released updated data from its COVID-19 Industry Health Dashboard, which is designed to provide critical insights to the hotel community as it weathers the storm of COVID-19.

Among the highlights are the following:

  • Rack/BAR and Promotion + Loyalty Member Rate demand continues to make week-over-week progress back toward pre-pandemic levels.
  • While corporate demand appears to have spiked in the most recent week, that is most attributable to a favorable Labor Day holiday weekend year-over-year comparison.
  • Hotel closures continue to stay flat relative to the peak in late April/early May.
  • U.S. organic search traffic remains consistent in the most recent weeks.
