JW Marriott to Debut in Panama

RIO HATO, PANAMA–The Bristol Hospitality Group plans to convert its Bristol Buenaventura Resort to the JW Marriott Panama Golf & Beach Resort, marking the JW Marriott brand’s debut in Panama.

The 118-room property is located in Rio Hato about 80 miles southwest of Panama City on the country’s Pacific Coast.

The property will be managed by Marriott International under an agreement with Bristol Hospitality.

Marriott International is currently represented in Panama by a core Marriott brand hotel, two Courtyard by Marriott hotels and a Marriott Executive Apartments facility.
