WASHINGTON, DC Marriott International has been named to manage a new 269-room hotel currently under construction in Caracas, Venezuela. Owned by Group Le Park, the new JW Marriott Hotel Caracas is expected to open by 2001.
Marriott International s South American portfolio currently consists of the 325-room Marriott Plaza Hotel Buenos Aires, the 452-room Renaissance Sao Paul Hotel, the 244-room JW Marriott Hotel Quito, and the recently opened 280-room Santiago Marriott Hotel. (9/19/00)
